Brent has been practicing law since 2008 when he became a judicial law clerk in Kentucky’s 28th Judicial Circuit. As a judicial law clerk, Brent worked on matters ranging from death penalty cases to will contests, business litigation, and property claims. In 2010, Brent went into private practice and has handled cases involving criminal defense, collections, personal injury, and family law.
A majority of Brent's current practice is criminal defense involving drug related cases and serious matters where firearms or serious physical force is used such as assaults, murders, and capital cases. Brent prefers complex litigation and focuses on matters which may be resolved in trials by jury.
